Ceremonial Grade Hip-Hop is here to give a retrospective outlook on the true evolutionary lineage of hip hop aka rap across the earth.

When we look at precolonial tribes, empires and civilizations we find a role that was more critical and powerful than the King and Queen themselves, the position none other than that of The Griot; a multimedia storyteller who to inspire and inform would use any combination of scripture, dance, theatre and you guessed it... music!

Rappers and Producers that promote the reality of the The Griot was raised, tutored and groomed since birth as it was not only their job to know the history of their people but to know it so well that they could see the future or at least better well inform the present. Griots used every medium you can imagine to tell the story, not just the story that the people wanted but what they needed.

Ceremonial grade hip hop holds a specific place in my heart, because Ceremonial Grade Hip-Hop is what saved my life. The Super Genre speaks to people that are knee deep, sometimes drowning in a ocean of systemically induced oppression. It speaks to not just Black people who have been targeted and strategically oppressed on a mass scale but it also speaks truth to all who align with the Universal Principles and stand against the corrupted power structures and its chains of complacency.

Ceremonial Grade Hip-Hop reminds the people who they are and lets the people know that they're not alone.
