Gaslit by the social normalcy that isolates and ostracizes the Black community, the "Invisible Man" effect is a mostly undiagnosed epidemic.

The truth is as you see in Black Cinema 2.0 that we aren't imagining this passive aggressive socio-economic box out, we are all really here experience the gaslighting in real-time and luckily we have each other to reflect on experiences with.

People caught up in the loops of systemic oppression hear the music watch the films and affirm the one thing society doesn't want them to know. That they are not imagining this and many are feeling just like them. Beyond all of this, this intimate sharing of our stories of both trial and triumph lets them know that they can indeed transcend oppression.
